The author's birth date sucks!

He was not impressed to discover a British tech entrepreneur used a search algorithm to find a day in history where nothing of note happened. It was  on April 11, 1954 and has the dubious honor of being known as the most boring day in history!

Fun use of your finds

Decide what things make your birth date suck, or not? Logically, negative things suck: battles, wars, deaths, invasions, earthquakes, natural catastrophes, shootings, hijackings etc etc. You get the idea. Positives don't suck and include: weddings, births, succession to throne, new innovations (eg 1st push-button telephone going into service), record-breaking achievements etc etc.

To make a fun challenge with one or more people, each one checks out their birth date and compares the result of choosing the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 10th or whatever entry in any of the sections. The 1901-Present section is more relatable than the very early dated sections. Of course any section can be used.

If results are equal, then choose another entry on the list. Maybe say—OK, the next one or the previous one, whatever. The winner may get to drive, escape the dish washing, or escape paying for the next round of drinks. Make up the rules as you go. Have fun.

The MORE button has lots more variables to choose from.
